It’s a Hat Trick for Tri-Truck Centre of Barrie, Ontario, also home of the #1 Sales Representative in Canada.
Mississauga, Ontario – Hino Motors Canada, Ltd. (HMC) is pleased to announce that Tri-Truck Centre Inc., in Barrie, Ontario, has been awarded the title of Hino Dealer of the Year 2016.
The coveted trophy was presented on site to John Esplen, Dealer Principal of Tri-Truck Centre and Rick Howitt, General Manager by Ms. Yumiko Kawamura, President of Hino Motors Canada and Eric Smith, HMC’s Senior Vice President, Sales and Customer Support. It’s the third year in a row that Tri-Truck’s team has earned the top spot for this award based on HMC’s annual Dealer Evaluation, a comprehensive measure of the dealer’s total business; Sales Management, Service Support, Parts Performance and Overall Facility.
“We might not be the biggest of all Hino dealers in Canada but one thing is for sure, this honor reflects everybody’s hard work and dedication at Tri Truck and we are certainly the best!” said John Esplen.
Eric Smith commended Tri-Truck’s group achievement by underlining how easy it is to feel the spirit of camaraderie the minute you walk into the dealership. Smith added that because so many of the 50 Hino dealers across Canada have the same drive and positive mindset as Tri Truck Centre the challenge of winning Hino Dealer of the Year grows greater every year.
Thom Moody # 1 in Sales
During the same ceremony, Thom Moody, of Tri-Truck Centre Inc., accepted the #1 Sales Representative in Canada award for 2016. Thom, already an acclaimed repeat winner at the recent sales skills competition held in May at Fanshawe College in London was recognized as achieving the highest retail truck results in the country.
