Procurement Coordinator

Position Title: Procurement Coordinator

Position Type: Full-time

Objectives
This position supports the objectives of the Parts department by assisting the Procurement Specialist with the management and maintenance of inventory levels through purchasing and sourcing of parts.

Main Responsibilities & Skills

  • Assist Procurement Specialist to determine minimum and maximum inventory levels based on review of MRP calculations and dealer demand
  • Support creation of purchase orders to maintain optimal inventory levels and fulfil dealer backorders as required
  • Process Vehicle off Road (VOR) requests submitted by dealers
  • Assist Procurement Specialist with HMS order entry and management
  • Manage and maintain all dealer direct ship orders and invoicing
  • Manage and maintain open/outstanding purchase order requirements in SAP
  • Follow up and resolve issues with suppliers on shipment of parts, shortages or change-orders
  • Manage and maintain all return to vendor inquiries for damaged or lost shipments
  • Assist in development of new direct ship program policies & procedures
  • Confirm purchase order accuracy with vendors
  • Perform other duties as required

REQUIRED

  • Previous parts counter related experience
  • Inventory management, warehouse management, SAP S4/HANA experience an asset
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions
  • Good time management and organizational skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Regular working hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Overtime as required
