This position supports the objectives of the I.T. team, and in particular, providing exceptional customer service to our internal customers through technical support on all I.T. related systems, general administration of computers, the network, and administrative tasks to support the environment. This position also includes researching and implementing I.T. projects to enhance efficiencies.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical support for all team members on all I.T.-related systems in both Mississauga and Woodstock locations.
  • Set up computers, establish new accounts, and set up profiles for new hires or other organizational changes.
  • Technical Administration tasks including, but not limited to, daily checklist for network health, managing of support incidents and tracking in the company helpdesk system,
    computer deployment and management, software installation, log reviews, backup support (daily backup), etc.
  • Administration tasks including, but not limited to, Asset Tracking and Software Licensing.
  • Assist/train Team Members on how to use I.T.-related equipment.
  • Project Management using approved management tools (such as MS Project).
  • Stay current in emerging technologies, create proposals, and implement approved I.T. projects.
  • Maintain company phones including purchasing, distribution and support.
  • Liaise with vendors.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
  • Liaise with approved vendors as needed.
  • Continued pursuit of industry Certifications.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous Experience IT Infrastructure.
  • Post-Secondary Education in a related discipline.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to situations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer relations.
  • Strong ability to work as both a member of a team or individually.

  • VMware (vSphere 7.x)
  • Networking Hardware (Cisco, Aruba, Meraki)
  • Helpdesk Ticket Management (Jira)
  • Windows Operating System (Windows 11, Windows Server)
  • Asset Management Software
  • MDM Experience (SOTI, InTune)
  • Android and iPhone knowledge
  • Cloud Technologies (Webex, Azure, Office 365, Auvik, NinjaOne)
  • Printer Setup / Configuration (Canon, Zebra)

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Rotational working hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm or 8:00am – 4:00pm (depending on assigned shift). Mainly on-site.
  • Overtime as required.
  • Occasional travel to Woodstock Facility or Datacentre.
  • Some requirements to start earlier to support Manufacturing Facility
  • Occasional (but regular) travel to Woodstock (twice monthly, minimum)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Occasional Lifting up to 50 lbs.
