OBJECTIVES
This position supports our Parts Department initiatives in new truck distribution by providing a high level of support to all stakeholders across Canada. This role is a full-time, on-site position located at our head office in Mississauga, ON.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Correctly pick and pack assigned orders
- Complete International Shipping
- Assist with customer pick-ups
- Assist in purchase order receiving
- Product putaway use RF scanners
- Build parts kits for inventory
- Using FedEx Ship Manager
- Filling out shipping bill of ladings
- Assist with general house keeping
- Maintain the department’s Key Performance Indicators
- Perform other duties as requested
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work accurately and pay close attention to details with frequent interruptions
- Ability to exercise initiative, good judgement and discretion in all matters
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task
- Good computer knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Forklift Operator License an asset
- Working at Heights Certificate an asset
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Occasional lifting and moving of heavy objects in the warehouse
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Post-secondary education or minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics/transportation/ customs role
- Languages: English (required)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive, with a strong attention to detail and a strong ability to multitask
- Must be a team player and able to collaborate & work effectively with others while providing a high level of customer service
- Ability to manage and prioritize work to meet strict deadlines
- Regular working hours: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
- Occasionally operate fork trucks
- Occasional overtime as required
