Eric succeeds Yumiko Kawamura who held the position for three years and has now returned to Japan to be assigned to the role of General Manager for the North American Division of Hino Motors Ltd., supporting Canada and USA markets. Eric becomes the first Canadian-born president of HMC.<\/p>\n<p>Eric\u2019s focus in his new role will be on the smooth operation of the business and setting out a plan to achieve the goals outlined in the Hino 2025 vision for service, parts sales, truck sales and production.<\/p>\n<p>Eric\u2019s career at Hino started in 2007 progressing through several roles, most recently as Senior Vice President, Sales and Customer Support. Under his leadership, both truck sales and market share have nearly tripled.
