We began our business by supplying steel culverts to the burgeoning road-building industry. Over several decades, we made a series of acquisitions including Big O, a leading Canadian manufacturer of high-density polyethylene corrugated pipe for the infrastructure and agriculture sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2018, WGI Westman Group Inc. acquired Armtec\u2019s Steel and Plastic Drainage Divisions, along with the Armtec name, consolidating them with Canada Culvert to form Armtec Inc. Armtec is proud to be part of the WGI family of companies. WGI was founded in 1976 by Russ Edwards with a single culvert mill, persistence and a focus on customer service. Today it has grown to over 2,200 talented and trusted employees in 77 locations across Canada and the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
